Environment Protection (Water Quality) Policy 2003.

This Policy implements the Environment Protection Act 1993 by providing guidelines and directions on water quality. The Policy sets water quality objectives and criteria (Part 3 and Schedule 2), provides for management and control of point source pollutions (Part 4) and of diffuse sources of pollution (Part 5) and it defines exemption conditions requiring monitoring and reporting (Part 6). The Policy is completed by the following schedules: Protected environmental values; Water quality criteria; Discharge limits and Listed pollutants.
