Abstract
These Regulations implement provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 by setting out application procedures and requirements for obtaining licences for the transport, storage or disposal of controlled waste.
The Regulations provide for: obligations of waste holders, waste generators, carriers and drivers; obligations as to disposal of a controlled waste; disposal of material containing asbestos; licences fees; etc.
