Abstract
This Act amends the Fisheries Administration Act 1991 and the Fisheries Management Act 1991 so as to provide in those enactments for co-management arrangement, authorities may enter into with stakeholders in a fishery. The Fishing Levy Act 1991 is amended by adding an interpretation of "holder of a fishing concession". The Act also amends the Fisheries Management Act 1991 so as to provide further for regulation-making powers of Australian Fisheries Management Authority, illegal transiting of Australian fishing zone, Cooperative Enforcement Agreement, Fisheries Laws between the Government of Australia and the Government of specified countries.
