Abstract
This Act, consisting of 3 sections and four Schedules, establishes Fisheries Legislation Amendments related to New Governance Arrangements for the Australian Fisheries Management Authority. Amendments deal with Fisheries Administration Act 1991; Fisheries Management Act 1991 and Torres Strait Fisheries Act 1984. Schedules are divided as follows: New Governance arrangements for AFMA (I); Foreign boats equipped for fishing (II); Boats beyond the AFZ (III); Support boats (IV).
