Abstract
These Regulations, consisting of 19 sections, implement the provisions of the Fisheries Management Act 2007. In particular, they prescribe the following issues: classes of persons not required to be registered as fish processors; prescribed grounds for refusing application for registration as fish processor; registration of additional premises, place, boat or vehicle; duty to check for undersized fish; requirements relating to processing of the following aquatic products: abalone; clams; pipi; blue crab; giant crab; sardines; tuna; rock lobster; Periodic returns; Records to be kept; Provisions relating to keeping of documents; Minister's determinations, etc.
