Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 26 sections divided into seven Parts and completed by three Schedules, aims to give effect to a share management fishery supporting plan for all share management fisheries.
The supporting plan provides for the following matters: dealings in shares; nominations of fishers; endorsements; management charges and community contributions; fishing gear that may be used and the conditions of use; general requirements in relation to lawful use of fishing gear; rights of priority-recognized fishing grounds; general provisions that ensure that certain requirements of the Fisheries Management (General) Regulation 2002 continue to apply to share management fisheries.
Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on 5 February 2007.
