Abstract
This regulation implements the Fluoridation of Public Water Supplies Act 1963 (13 sections). It regulates the notification of addition of fluorine to be done by local governments to the chief executive (sect. 5), it specifies which fluorine forms may be added to public water supplies (sect. 6) and their minimum and maximum concentrations (sect. 7). It regulates the equipments to be used (sect. 8) and the analysis of treated waters (sect. 9). Section 10 covers records and reports to be done by local governments that add fluorine to public water supplies and section 12 sets additional requirements for addition of fluorine. The regulation is completed by one schedule on fluorine concentration values.
