Abstract
This Regulation implements the Forestry Act 1916 by providing specifications on several matters related forestry operations and to the management of forestry resources. In particular, the Regulation covers the establishment and organization of State forests, special management zones and flora reserves (Part 2), the control and management of State forests, timber reserves and flora reserves (Part 3), fire controls, licences, permits and forest leases (Part 4), dealings with timber, products and forest materials (Part 5) and offences (Part 6). The Regulation is completed by three schedules: fees, form and penalty notice and short description.
