Abstract
This Regulation implements the Forestry Act 2012 by providing specifications on several matters related to forestry operations and to the management of forestry resources. In particular, the Regulation covers the control and management of State forests, timber reserves and flora reserves including the control of fires (Part 2), applications for licences, forest permits, forest leases and contractor licences to harvest timber (Part 3), the branding of timber (Part 4), offences and provisions of miscellaneous nature (Parts 5 and 6). The Regulation is completed by two Schedules: penalty notice offences and the prescribed form for releasing land from profit à prendre.
Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on 1 January 2013.
