Abstract
This Regulation provides for restrictions in special areas including the engagement in aquaculture, intensive livestock or plant agriculture; installation or operation of sewage disposals; and the pollution of waters. The Regulation prescribes certain offences as penalty notice offences and prescribes authorized officers for the purposes of issuing penalty notices.
The Regulation further provides for: the performance of plumbing or drainage work, including the requirement of a permit to carry out the work and for applications for the granting of permits.

This Regulation enters into force on 1 September 2010.
Notes
This Regulation repeals the Hunter Water (Transitional) Regulation, 1999. The Hunter Water (General) Regulation 2005 and the Hunter Water (Special Areas) Regulation 2003, are repealed on 1 September 2010 by section 10 (2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.
