Abstract
These Regulations implement the Mining Act 1971 and repeals all regulations previously made under Act. The Regulations provide specifications on miners’ rights (Part 2); mineral claims and access claim (Part 3); mining leases and retention leases (Part 4); exploration and other types of licences (Part 6); entry on land (Part 7); registration of documents related to mining activities (Part 8); use of the extractive areas rehabilitation fund (Part 9); private mines and on offices of the Mining Registrar.
