Abstract
This Act provides for the control and management of parks and reserves.
The Act empowers the Governor to establish Boards to control and manage land placed under its control and in specific: construct dams and reservoirs for the retention and formation of sheets of water; adapt land to the purposes of public recreation, health and enjoyment; establish and maintain zoological gardens; grant licences for the depasturing of animals on the land and for the removal of any sand, gravel, minerals and for the cutting and removal of wood; etc.
The Act further provides for: issuance of certificates of authority for Board members; by-laws making powers of the Board; Board meetings; offences; etc.
