Abstract
For the purpose of implementing the provisions of the Plant Diseases Act 1924, the Regulation deals with the following: penalty notice offences (sect. 4); form of notice of intention to destroy plants (sect. 6); notice of appeal against proposed destruction of plants (sect. 7); hearing of appeal (sect. 8). The Regulation is completed by two Schedules. Schedule 1 regards penalty notice offences. Schedule 2 contains the following forms: Notice by Minister of intention to destroy plants in neglected or abandoned orchard or nursery (1); Notice of appeal under section 21 (2); Notice of hearing of appeal under section 21 (3).
