Shipping Registration Regulations 1981.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Shipping Registration Act 1981. Regulations 7 to 19 specify conditions of registration of vessels with the Registrar under section 15 of the Act and the issue of a registration certificate. Regulation 19 prescribes the manner of marking of vessels. Other regulations deal with transfer of ships, transmission of ships, mortgage of ships, transmission of mortgage of ships, loss of ships or other reasons for ceasing of registration, and other matters.
