Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 11 sections and completed by one Schedule, implements the Stock (Chemical Residues) Act 1975 by providing specifications on, among others, the disposal of seized stock, the reporting of test results indicating whether or not stock are chemically affected, the powers of inspectors to survey land, the use of data, the attaching of identifiers to stock that are the subject of a detention notice, the delegation of functions of the Minister for Primary Industries, the offences under the Act or Regulation for which penalty notices (“on-the-spot” fines) may be issued and the amounts of the fines payable under such notices, savings and formal matters.
