Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the fields of land management, land relations, cadastre, geodesy, cartography, remote sensing and geographic information systems.

Both parties agree on developing and expanding socio-economic development in the fields of land management, land relations, cadastre, geodesy, cartography, remote sensing and geographic information systems. The areas of cooperation are, as follows: (i) carrying out topographic, geodetic, cartographic, land management and cadastral works; (ii) developing and implementing joint programs and projects; (iii) conducting joint scientific research, experimental and industrial work; (iv) providing consulting services; (v) conducting training, internship and professional development of experts; (vi) holding meetings, conferences, symposiums, seminars and consultations. The disagreement may be solved through negotiation and consultations. The Parties may make amendments and supplements to this Agreement by mutual consent, which shall be formalized in the form of separate protocols and shall be its integral part. This Agreement shall be valid for five years and may be extended for successive period of five years unless terminated by written notice requiring 6 months through diplomatic channels.
