Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Croatia on cooperation in the field of environmental and nature protection

By the Presidential Decree No. 881 dated 3 May 2013, Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Croatia on cooperation in the field of environmental and nature protection was approved. The Parties agree upon carrying out activities regarding biodiversity conservation, environmental impact assessment, protected areas, waste management, control and prevention of environmental pollution, climate change, forest management and soil protection. The Parties shall develop the cooperation by exchange of scientific and technical information, documents, experts, projects, new technologies and experiences. The Parties may organize meetings, scientific conferences, symposia and workshops. This Agreement may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved by negotiations and consultations between the Parties. This Agreement shall be valid for five years and automatically renewable with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
