Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine on cooperation in the field of research on and protection of plant varieties.

By the Law № 291-IIIQ dated 10 April 2007, Agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ukraine on cooperation in the field of research on and protection of plant varieties was approved. The Parties agree upon carrying out activities on genetic resources and biological materials of plant varieties and trade promotion. The Parties shall develop the cooperation by exchange of information, scientific and technical studies, documents, experts and experiments. The Parties may organize training programs and seminars. This Agreement may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved by negotiations and consultations between the Parties. This Agreement shall be valid until one of the Parties exercises its termination rights requiring six months written notice.
