Abstract
By the Presidential Decree № 968 dated 28 August 2013, Complex Plan of Cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry for Affairs for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation for 2013-2015 was approved. The Parties agree upon strengthening and developing bilateral cooperation in the field of prevention of emergency situations of natural and man-made origin, elimination of consequences, environmental impact assessment of possible environmental pollution as a result of industrial accidents, catastrophes and natural disasters and conservation of environment of the Caspian Sea, aiming at protection of the population, environment and the territory. The Parties may exchange information and experience and ensure capacity building.
