Abstract
This Law sets forth the legal, economic and organizational basis to regulate the licence and permit system regarding entrepreneurial activity in the Azerbaijan Republic. This Law covers a) criteria to specify entrepreneurial activities requiring licence and permit, b) licensing and permit principles of the government, c) granting of license, its duplicates and annexes, d) rules on reissue, suspension, renewal and cancellation of license, and e) the responsibility of licencee, grantor of licence and its officials. List of activities requiring licence, including production and sales of veterinary drugs, production and import of crop protection equipment and agrochemicals, is in Annex I. List of activities requiring licence which are related to state security, is in Annex II. List of permit issued to entrepreneurial activities, is in Annex III. Permitted entrepreneurial activities contains international trade of endangered species of wild fauna and flora, veterinary certificate for exported animals, animal products and raw materials, registration certificate of pesticides, biological agents and agrochemicals, quarantine certificates, phytosanitary certificates, hygiene certificates for food, and quality certificate for the export of food products to the EU.
