Abstract
This Law provides for the rules and procedures regarding the production, processing and marketing of tea. It also sets forth obligations and responsibilities of the legal and real persons dealing with tea production and processing. It lays down provisions regarding the state support for tea production, the supervision and quality control of tea products and sets out the state program for the improvement of this sector. The Law further sets out that the tea products covered by this Law should comply with specific sanitary and hygiene standards set by other legislation.
