Abstract
This Law lays down rules in the field of development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship, determines the forms and methods of promoting state support provided to micro, small and medium entrepreneurs. The main objectives of state policy in the field of development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan are: (i) creating favorable conditions for the development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship; (ii) increasing the competitiveness of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs; (iii) stimulating investment and innovation activity of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs; (iv) ensuring sustainable development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship; (v) assisting in the entry of goods produced by micro, small and medium entrepreneurs and the results of their intellectual activity into domestic and foreign markets; (vi) ensuring employment of the population and development of self-employment by supporting entrepreneurial initiatives of citizens; and (vii) increasing the share of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs in the volume of gross domestic product and non-oil exports.
