Law No.138-IIQ of 2001 on tobaccos.

The present Law regulates relations connected with manufacturing, import, export, consumption of tobaccos, their trade and establishes legal bases for the management of their quality. The document consists of VII Secs. that contain 26 Arts. Section I (arts. 1-4) lays down general provisions. Section II (Arts. 5-9) establishes economic basis for the organization of tobacco-growing. Section III (Arts.10-13) regards manufacturing of tobaccos. Section IV (Arts. 14-16) regards turnover of tobaccos. Section V (Arts. 17-19) regards quality control of tobaccos. Section VI (Arts. 20-22) regards regulation arrangements aimed at reduction of the consumption of tobaccos. Section VII (Arts. 23-26) establishes liability for the infringement of the legislation on tobaccos and regards dispute settlement.
