Abstract
By the Presidential Decree No. 531 dated 22 May 2015, Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of disaster management between the Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Emergency Situations and Disaster Management Agency of United Arab Emirates was approved. The Parties agree upon carrying out activities on emergency situations and disaster management and elimination of consequences. The Parties shall organize training programs expert meetings and conferences and shall exchange information, research results, assistance in technical and scientific level, videos, photos and experts. The Parties shall develop and implement joint technical projects for humanitarian and social purposes. This MoU may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved by negotiations and consultations between the Parties. This MoU shall be valid for two years and automatically renewable with termination rights requiring six months written notice.
