Ministerial Decree No. 10 on approval of rules regarding import and use of non-registered pesticides and biological preparations.

This Decree states that the use and import of non-registered pesticides and biological preparations shall be allowed in the following cases: (i) when used in scientific research, (ii) when importing seeds and planting materials processed through plant protection equipment, and (iii) when importing pesticides and biological preparations to prevent the mass spread of pests. This Decree underlines that imported pesticides and biological preparations must have the documents from the importing country confirming their registration. The State Phytosanitary Control Service shall carry out state control over the use and import of non-registered pesticides and biological preparations. This Decree sets out provisions on procedures for making application of real and legal persons to the State Phytosanitary Control Service for approval.
