Ministerial Decree No. 135 on the issuance of quality certificates for food products exported to European Union.

This Decree sets out principles and procedures of issuance of quality certificates, quality control and expertise on food products and responsibilities in case of violation of rules. This Decree states that the Ministry of Economy and Industry shall be charged with carrying out quality control over food production, state control over infrastructure of food production and processing facilities and registration of these facilities. The quality certificate shall only be issued for food products produced, processed and packaged by the enterprises that have the confirmation code number. This Decree underlines that food products exported to EU shall be assessed in accordance with the principles prescribed by the law and international agreements. The templates of the quality certificate are attached to this Decree in the appendix.
