Abstract
This Regulation lays down rules on the establishment of the Register for the purposes of collecting, processing, searching, analyzing, transmitting and informing users of information on cases giving grounds for considering food products unsafe in order to protect human life and health, as well as consumer rights. The information in the register is open to the public, its use and access to information is free of charge. In accordance with the cases specified in Article 10.2 of the Law, the following information is inserted into the Register: (i) nomenclature code of the commodity; (ii) name of the commodity; (iii) information on the description and evidence of short-term or long-term (including cumulative toxic effects) harmful effects; (iv) food safety indicator; (v) the threshold of the food safety indicator that makes the food product unsafe; (vi) name of the prohibited ingredient; (vii) details of the legislation referred to; and (viii) information on unsafe food.
