Ministerial Decree № 203 on release of hybrid fish species and aquatic biological resources to fishing area.

This Decree aims at increasing productivity of fish and other aquatic biological resources, conservation of endemic fish species and acclimatization of fish. Hybrid fish species and aquatic biological resources shall be released if fishing area has no connection with surface water or only used for recreational and scientific purposes. Furthermore this Decree stresses on conservation of aquatic genetic resources in line with the international conventions. New fish species shall be released to the Caspian Sea under the supervision of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. This Decree sets forth provisions on protection of environment, data collection, hygiene and sanitary requirements and inspection.
