Ministerial Decree No. 243 amending the Ministerial Decree No. 154 validating the Regulation on public control on the application of standards and requirements in the sphere of determination of the foodstuffs’ quality and safety.

This Decree makes several changes in the Ministerial Decree no. 154. This Decree states that, in Article 2, “which can pose a threat to property and the environment” phrase shall be changed as “the interests’ of the state property, as well as direct and significant threat or harm to the environment”. In addition, in Paragraph 1 of Article 5.1, “property” expression shall be changed as “the interests’ of the state property” and in Paragraph 2 of Article 5.1, “the expense of the entity” phrase shall be repealed. Furthermore, Article 9 shall be repealed. Article 11 shall be read as follows: results of public control shall be regularized in accordance with the Article 31 of the Law on regulating the inspection in the business field and protecting the interests’ of entrepreneurs. The given basic legal documents in this Decree are Public Control Act, administrative protocol, the legislation in force and requisitions.
