Ministerial Decree No. 266 on approval of the rules regarding protection, restoration and use of cultural heritage.

This Decree states that the protection of cultural heritage is a set of measures to prevent deformation, destruction, alteration of the structure and loss of cultural value. The state authorities and municipalities shall carry out control over the use, as well as ensure the identification, research, inventory, monitoring and protection of cultural heritage. This Decree sets out provisions on (i) protection zones, reserves, restoration, conservation, maintenance, construction, reconstruction and land improvement of immovable cultural heritage, (ii) conservation of movable cultural heritage, (iii) conservation of intangible cultural heritage, (iv) restoration and use of cultural heritage.
