Abstract
The Rules regulate relations between consumers (buyers) and legal and natural persons (including sellers) engaged in entrepreneurial activity in the field of trade, public catering, household and other types of services in connection with purchase and sale and provision of other services. Trade facilities should have conditions that allow consumers to make the right choice, such as green markets should have special sections for the sale of certified organic agricultural products. The sellers of perishable food products shall indicate the name of food products, nutritional and energy value, composition, quantity, quality indicators, production date, shelf life, storage conditions, allergens, origin, name and address of the manufacturer, production method and rules of use. It is prohibited to sell goods that do not have a shelf life, have expired, as well as products that are marked, packaged, labeled, have a damaged appearance, do not have documents confirming their quality and safety, and do not meet the requirements of technical regulatory legal acts. The Rules lay down requirements and restrictions regarding wholesale and retail sales of products, including but not limited to: food sales to be in compliance with the legislation in the fields of veterinary, phytosanitary, food safety, public health and protection of the environment.
