Ministerial Decree regarding validation of the Regulation on the Ministry of Transport.

The Ministry is a central executive body entitled with the function of forming and carrying out common state policy and regulating water transport. The Ministry is entitled to carry out the following functions: 1) to set up Marine administration, marine register and gives consent for carrying out activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan of International marine registers; 2) to carry out registration of marine and fluvial vessels (large-capacity vessels and small-size vessels), to validate technical requirements and regulations regarding their maintenance and use; 3) to set up transport inspection of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
