Presidential Decree No. 1120 establishing the Azerbaijan Investment Holding.

This Decree hereby establishes the Azerbaijan Investment Holding and approves its Regulation. It lays down rules for the activities, duties and powers, administration, funds and inspection of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding. The President of Azerbaijan shall be responsible for the liquidation and reorganization of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding. The duties of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding include but not limited to: giving opinions for the approval of long-term development and business plans of state institutions; monitoring the goals set in business plans; participating in innovative industrial projects of social importance in order to ensure the sustainable development of the economy; taking measures related to stimulation, support and promotion of innovation activity in state institutions; and cooperating with international organizations and relevant state institutions of foreign countries in order to investigate the possibilities of applying international experience and studying the relevant experience of foreign countries.
