Presidential Decree No. 278 on the activities of the State Tourism Agency.

This Decree approves the Charter of the State Tourism Agency and its structure. The Agency is the central executive body implementing state policy and regulation in the field of tourism, as well as in the field of protection of historical and cultural monuments located in the territories of natural reserves under its jurisdiction. The duties of the Agency include but not limited to: (i) preparing and implementing state programs and development concepts related to the relevant field; (ii) taking appropriate measures to attract investment in the development of tourism infrastructure and industry, as well as in the development of natural reserves, tourism zones and tourism service areas in the country; (iii) ensuring the development of health, sports, mountain, cultural, ecological and hunting tourism; and (iv) participating in improving the standardization and certification system in the tourism sector.
