Presidential Decree No. 624 on the establishment of the Social Research Center.

This Presidential Decree lays down provisions on the activities, duties, powers and administration of the Social Research Center. The activities of the Center include but not limited to: (i) to participate in the formulation and implementation of the policy related to social research and analysis; (ii) to analyze the development dynamics and trends of mutual relations between the state and society, (iii) to strengthen and develop society-state contacts through innovative social solutions, modern information and communication technologies, as well as through multifaceted activities conducted in Internet information resources and social networks; (iv) to conduct social studies on the possible effects of the decisions and actions taken; (v) to hold public hearings and debates on various topics of public importance and cooperate with civil society institutions and legal entities in this field.
