Presidential Decree No. 646 on the approval of the Regulations on the State Customs Committee and its structure.

This Regulation lays down rules as regards the establishment, structure, duties and powers of the State Customs Committee. Regulation 3 lists the duties of the Committee, including but not limited to: (i) preventing the illegal crossing of the customs border of ozone-depleting substances, cultural heritage, and endangered species of animals and plants; (ii) assisting relevant state agencies in implementing measures in the field of protection of public health, animals, plants, the environment and cultural heritage; and (iii) providing information to the relevant state veterinary inspectorate in order to ensure the isolation of animals imported from other countries in order to determine their health status.
