Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries of France in the veterinary field.

By the Presidential Decree № 1362 dated 23 October 2003, Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries of France in the veterinary field was approved. The Parties agree upon preventing the occurrence and spread of animal diseases and developing cooperation in the field of animal health and hygienic meat and animal products to ensure consumer protection by improving quality of meat and animal products. The Parties shall inform each other immediately about occurrence of any disease listed in OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code. The Parties shall develop the cooperation by exchange of scientific and technical documents, experience and information. The Parties may organize training programs and study visits. This Protocol may be amended by mutual written consent. The dispute may be solved by negotiations and consultations between the Parties. This Protocol shall be valid until one of the Parties exercises its termination rights requiring six months written notice.
