Resolution No. 18 of the Board of the Food Safety Agency on approving the Regulation of the Strategic Analysis and Planning Department of the Office of the Food Safety Agency.

The Strategic Analysis and Planning Department of the Agency shall carry out activities in the following areas but not limited to: (i) participating in the development of state policy on food safety, giving advice the formulation of priorities of the state food safety policy, and analyzing information on the scope and effectiveness of the food safety system; (ii) preparing the Agency's strategic plans together with relevant structural units and coordinates their implementation; (iii) conducting strategic research and analysis on the Agency's areas of activity, as well as proposing measures to be taken for the sustainable development of the food safety system; (iv) determining development prospects and strategic priority directions by analyzing the current state of the food safety system and participates in the coordination and implementation of the measures envisaged in this regard; (v) improving the optimal management model, reporting and decision-making system in the food safety system; (vi) monitoring and evaluating the implementation status of strategic documents on food safety; (vii) analyzing statistical data on food safety and participating in the formation and update of the statistical database on issues covering the Agency's areas of activity; (viii) cooperating with the Agency's structural units, individual organizations, non-governmental organizations, international organizations and other interested parties, including representatives of the private sector, in the fulfillment of its obligations; and (ix) operating in other areas determined by legislation.
