Resolution No. 18 of the Board of the Food Safety Agency on approving the Regulations of the Finance and Supply Department of the Office of the Food Safety Agency.

The Finance and Supply Department under the Food Safety Agency shall carry out activities in the following areas but not limited to: (i) keeping accounting records of the Agency’s property, liabilities and all economic transactions; (ii) preparing the annual report on the Agency’s financial and economic activities; (iii) providing supply services; (iv) drafting the budget for the Agency’s maintenance costs for the next budget year; (v) controlling the efficient use of funds allocated from the state budget and other sources stipulated by law for the maintenance and operation of the Agency's apparatus and regional divisions, as well as for their intended purpose; (vi) organizing the work of the Agency's regional divisions, coordinating and monitoring their activities in the field of food chain control; (vii) conducting inventory in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation; (viii) participating in ensuring the development of the food safety sector and in the formation of a unified state policy in the field of food safety; and (ix) operating in other areas determined by legislation.
