Resolution No. 18 of the Board of the Food Safety Agency on approving the Regulations of the Legal, Personnel and Enforcement Control Department of the Office of the Food Safety Agency.

The Legal, Personnel and Enforcement Control Department under the Food Safety Agency shall carry out activities in the following areas but not limited to: (i) providing legal support for the Agency and mandatory legal expertise of draft regulatory legal acts; (ii) representing the Agency in courts, ensuring the protection of its rights and legitimate interests; (iii) organizing the Agency's regulatory activities in the field of food safety; (iv) implementing state personnel strategy in the structural divisions of the Agency's Office and in the organizations included in its structure in the direction of staffing with highly qualified specialists; (v) participating in ensuring the development of the food safety sector and in the formation of a unified state policy in the field of food safety; and (vi) operating in other areas determined by legislation.
