Resolution No. 18 of the Board of the Food Safety Agency on approving the Regulations of the Information Support and Innovative Solutions Department of the Office of the Food Safety Agency.

The Information Support and Innovative Solutions Department under the Food Safety Agency shall carry out activities in the following areas but not limited to: (i) taking measures together with relevant state bodies to educate food consumers, as well as entrepreneurs operating at all stages of the food and feed chain, on food safety, and providing them with economic and legal information; (ii) maintaining an open register of cases that give grounds for considering food products unsafe for users based on information provided by the relevant structural unit in order to provide consumers with complete, accurate and up-to-date information on food and feed safety requirements; (iii) carrying out awareness-raising activities related to the development of public-private sector cooperation in the direction of ensuring food safety; (iv) ensuring the effective provision of information security; (v) participating in ensuring the development of the food safety sector and in the formation of a unified state policy in the field of food safety; and (vi) operating in other areas determined by legislation.
