Abstract
The Animal Health and Biosecurity Department under the Food Safety Agency shall carry out activities in the following areas but not limited to: (i) implementing state policy and regulation on veterinary control; (ii) performing tasks arising from the normative activity in the field of animal health and veterinary control, preparing sanitary norms and rules related to feed products; (iii) organizing the approval of veterinary drugs, giving an opinion on their relevance to their examination and testing; (iv) carrying out awareness-raising programs and managing risks and crisis situations in the field of animal health and biosecurity within the framework of the One Health concept; (v) carrying out measures related to the establishment of an animal identification and registration system and monitoring of animal health; (vi) conducting accounting and reporting in the veterinary field; (vii) taking necessary measures to ensure the development of the field of veterinary control; (viii) organizing the work of the Agency's regional divisions, coordinating and monitoring their activities in the field of animal health; and (ix) operating in other areas determined by legislation.
