Resolution No. 41 of the Food Safety Agency on phytosanitary rules on materials under quarantine control imported into Azerbaijan and transited through the territory of Azerbaijan.

The purpose of this Resolution is to prevent the entry and spread of pests from other countries into the territory of Azerbaijan. It determines phytosanitary requirements for materials under quarantine control imported into the territory and transported in transit through Azerbaijan. Export or re-export phytosanitary certificates shall be in English or Russian, in accordance with the requirements of International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 12 (Phytosanitary Certificates) adopted under the International Plant Protection Convention. These certificates shall be issued by the National Plant Protection Organization of the exporting or re-exporting country.
Multi-cycle wood packaging materials imported into Azerbaijan shall meet the requirements laid down in Paragraph 3.2 in accordance with the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (Regulation of wood packaging materials in international trade). Specific phytosanitary quarantine requirements for planting materials are listed in Table 1 annexed to this Resolution.
