Abstract
This Standard has been set by the State Committee of Standardization and Certification, with the consent of of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents. This standard is authentic translation of the standard set by the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (OIC/SMIIC 1:2011). The initial inspection shall be in 2020 to determine the requirements of the standard to comply with the international standards, norms, rules and recommendations. This standard sets forth the basic requirements that shall be followed at any stage of food chain including, receiving, preparation, processing, sorting, determination, packaging, labelling, marking, controlling, handling, transportation, distribution, storage and service of halal food and its products based on Islamic rules.
