Decision amending and supplementing the Decision on monitoring of certain substances in live animals and products of animal origin.

This Decision amends and adds some provisions parts of the Decision on monitoring of certain substances in live animals and products of animal origin (originally published in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina 1/2004, and already amended in the Gazette 40/2009).
Changes are as follows: in article 2 (paragraph 1, item e) is amended in terms of definitions/used terminology as regards authorized laboratories; in article 8 the paragraph 2 is now deleted; in article 10 (paragraph 2) after the words "Veterinarian in " the word “prescribed” in here added; in article 10 (paragraph 4) is amended “The owner of the animal is obliged to keep records referred to in paragraph 2. of this article as well as the veterinary prescriptions referred to in paragraph 3 at least for a period of 5 years". Also in article 17, after paragraph 3, paragraphs 4 and 5 are added “paragraph 4-indications on laboratory methods used to perform tests on certain residues that must be accredited to the latter edition of the standard BAS EN ISO/IEC 17025; and paragraph 5 states that if there is no reference laboratory in Bosnia and Herzegovina which meets the conditions referred to in paragraph 4 of this article, a laboratory outside BiH which the requirements of the latest edition of the BAS EN standard ISO/IEC 17025 may be engaged. In Annex IV. Sampling strategy in paragraph 3 reference number "1/09" is now replaced by the number "37/09”.
