Decision on approval of the distribution of funds of the Fund for prevention of infectious diseases.

This Decision, based on the provisions of the Law on the Government of Republika Srpska, consents the distribution of funds of the Fund for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases for 2017 as given to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. These funds shall be allocated for: compensation for damage to animals that are safely removed (killed or slaughtered) during implementation of measures aimed to control particularly dangerous infectious diseases and zoonosis; compensation for dead and euthanized animals due to bluetongue; remediation of hotspots after harmless destruction of infected animals; monitoring of bluetongue in ruminants and vectors; education, organization of professional meetings of veterinarians and veterinary practitioners and inspectors, as well as farmers and food business operators when necessary, design and implementation in the practice of innovative programmes for the protection of health and reproduction of animals, publishing scientific and professional journals for the publication of new veterinary-medical achievements and procedures.
