Abstract
This Law regulates the protection of plants against pests and diseases that can threat to the whole country, including the plant turnover protection products and plant health inspections in cross-border trade.
The rules and requirements here defined are also aimed to protect the plants from pests and diseases in terms of concrete duty of the socio-political communities and their organs, as well as companies or organizations, agricultural cooperatives and other associations of farmers, holders of plant cultivators, titleholders of the land, titleholders of room for accommodation, processing and storage of plants and plant products, titleholders of the device for processing plants and performing the transport of plants (civil, legal entities and private citizens).
The Law is divided into XII Chapters and 74 articles, including the offences and related penalties.
