Abstract
This Law regulates the production and trade/traffic with what is here defined as narcotic drug/drugs.
For the protection of life and health of people and in order to prevent the abuse of production of narcotic substances/drugs, this Law closely regulates the conditions for the production of plants and plant seeds from which they can be produced; conditions for production, possession and trafficking in controlled substances that can be used for the production of narcotic drugs; related specific plant production issues; (article 8 states that plant used for the production of drugs can be cultivated only under the terms and conditions stipulated by this Law; offences and penalties also present in Chapter X).
