Abstract
The subject of the Memorandum of Understanding is the cooperation between the Participants in the fields covered by the Framework Agreement on the Sava River Basin (FASRB), for the purpose of a better coordination and effectiveness of their activities of mutual interest. The aim of the Memorandum is to provide a framework for enhancing cooperation and coordination between the Participants and to promote a spirit of practical, pragmatic and result-oriented close cooperation and partnership in achieving the common strategic goals related to sustainable water management, taking into account the objectives and basic principles of the FASRB.

Entry into force notes
The present Memorandum of Understanding will come into effect on the date of its signature by the duly authorized representatives of each Participant. The present Memorandum of Understanding is concluded for a period of 3 (three) years and it will be automatically extended for new subsequent periods of 3 (three) years until one of the Participants will give to the other Participant a written notification about the intention to terminate this Memorandum of Understanding.
