Programme on environmental protection education and training of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality (2018).

This Programme sets out the local municipal environmental protection education and training, as indicated by the Integrated development strategy of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality (planned until 2023, and designated specifically for the municipality of the city of Novo Sarajevo, located in the middle of the Sarajevo field, predominantly on the northern bank of the Miljacka, territory of the Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Key functions of this text are aimed at involving the public participation and general awareness as regards the overall environmental protection, and in specific air and water pollution and waste management, through the implementation of educational and training courses and public information approach.
Chapter III lists the participants among their roles, adopted measures and scopes of the same, including necessary analysis tasks, and integrated management principles that shall involve public and private participants and local institutions. Selection of waste, rational and sustainable water use and water protection, and promotion of health and clean environment are main educational objectives.
